Dr. Lisa Franck
Dr. Franck graduated from UCLA with a degree in Anthropology. She spent years volunteering with apes, and even tracked gibbons through the rain forest of Thailand. Before vet school she even did a stint as an elementary school teacher before realizing she was meant to be a vet! She graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 2008 and spent the first two years working at a shelter. She then moved to Marin and worked in small animal practice there until joining El Sobrante Veterinary Hospital in 2019. She really enjoys working in the East Bay with friendly, hard-working clients that want the best care for their pets. She was excited to purchase the clinic in December 2020 from Dr. Brennan and Dr. Bacchetti and hopes to carry on the legacy of a small, private hospital where clients and their pets are family. She is dedicated to rescue work, and spends lots of time volunteering with rescue organizations, either fostering cats and kittens or doing spay and neuter work. Dr. Franck enjoys traveling the world, dancing, reading, and removing cat and dog reproductive organs. She has cats and bunnies at home, and is obsessed with bottle-feeding kittens!
