Our Doctors

	Patrice Wehren, DVM My name is Patrice Wehren. I grew up in upstate New York where animals (cats, dogs, and a neighbor’s horses) were a huge part of my life. While my undergraduate degree was in political science, I obtained almost all the science credits to pursue veterinary medicine at the same time. Though I moved to California to pursue a PhD at UC Berkeley, I ultimately decided to focus on entering the veterinary program at UC Davis. That allowed me to combine both a strong interest in medicine plus my love for animals.

	Heather Kriensky, DVM My name is Heather Kriensky, DVM. I graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. I’m an all around general practitioner and am Fear Free Certified. I have always loved animals and treat each of my patients as if they were my own. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cuddling with my 4 kitties- Rascal, Toby, Charlotte, Tux, and my dog Sherman. I’m excited to be in at the opening of El Sobrante Veterinary Hospital.

	Kassie Leon, DVM Dr. Kassie was born and raised in Florida and attended St. George University in the Caribbean. After graduation Dr. Kassie moved to the Bay Area to pursue an internship in emergency medicine. Her interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine and critical care! When Dr. Kassie is not working you can find her in nature and spending time with her rescue cat, Jellybean.
